Heavenly Vision Declares All Peoples Clean, Ushering in New Era for the Assembly!

YAPHO (JOPPA) AND QESARYAH (CAESAREA) – An unprecedented divine encounter has sent shockwaves through the nascent assembly of believers, potentially redefining the very fabric of our people's relationship with the nations (goyim). The Apostle Kepha (Peter), a pillar of the renewed covenant community, was the recipient of a profound vision directly from Yahweh, followed by an astonishing outpouring of the Ruach Ha Qodesh upon uncircumcised gentiles. This monumental event has raised vital questions about the application of Torah (Instruction) and the future of Yahweh's redemptive plan.
The saga began in Yapho, where Kepha was staying at the home of Shim'on (Simon), a tanner, near the sea. Around the sixth hour, while preparing for a meal, Kepha ascended to the rooftop to pray. It was there that he fell into a trance and beheld a sight that would forever alter his understanding of Yahweh's will.
Eyewitnesses report Kepha describing a massive sheet, like a great tablecloth, descending from the shamayim (heavens), lowered by its four corners. Within this sheet were all manner of four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air – many of which are considered common or unclean (tameh) according to our ancestral Torah. A clear voice, undeniably Yahweh's, then commanded Kepha, "Rise, Kepha, kill and eat!"
Kepha's immediate response was one of staunch devotion to the Torah. "Certainly not, Master," Kepha exclaimed, "for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean!" But the voice from the shamayim spoke a second time, a powerful declaration that resonated with profound implications: "What Yahweh has cleansed, do not call common." This startling exchange occurred three times, before the sheet was suddenly drawn back into the shamayim.
While Kepha was still pondering the meaning of this perplexing vision, three men arrived at the gate, dispatched from Qesaryah by a Roman centurion named Qornelios. The Ruach Ha Qodesh then spoke plainly to Kepha, instructing him to accompany the men without hesitation, for Yahweh Himself had sent them.
Upon arriving in Qesaryah, Kepha found Qornelios, a devout and righteous man who feared Yahweh, surrounded by his relatives and close friends, eagerly awaiting a message. Qornelios recounted his own vision, where an angel of Yahweh commanded him to send for Kepha, who would speak words by which he and his entire household would be saved.
It was then that Kepha began to speak, declaring the good news of Yahshua the Messiah. He proclaimed that Yahshua, whom Yahweh had anointed with the Ruach Ha Qodesh and power, went about doing good, healing all who were oppressed. Kepha powerfully asserted that Yahshua is He whom Yahweh appointed as judge of the living and the dead, and that through His name, everyone who believes in Him receives remission of sins.
But the most astonishing event was yet to unfold. While Kepha was still speaking these words, the Ruach Ha Qodesh suddenly fell upon all who heard the message – uncircumcised gentiles! To the utter astonishment of the circumcised believers who had accompanied Kepha from Yapho, they heard these gentiles speaking in tongues and magnifying Yahweh, just as they themselves had experienced at the beginning!
After witnessing this undeniable outpouring of the Set-Apart Spirit, Kepha then declared, "Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be immersed (mikvah) who have received the Ruach Ha Qodesh just as we have?" He then commanded that these new believers be immersed in mikvah in the name of Yahshua, thereby confirming the pattern of repentance, mikvah for the remission of sins, and the infilling of the Ruach Ha Qodesh.
This monumental event, transpiring first in Yapho and then confirming in Qesaryah, marks a pivotal moment in the history of Yahweh's redemptive plan. The ancient barriers that once separated the children of Abraham from the nations are now being brought low, not by human decree, but by divine mandate. The implications for the assembly's outreach and the integration of gentile believers are profound and will undoubtedly be the subject of much discussion and deliberation in the days to come. The message is clear: Yahweh has opened the door of faith to the nations.
